    There are many different types of acne and coping with it can be a very traumatic experience. The more unusual types of acne are usually found in conjunction with acne vulgaris. Not only is this a complete waste of money but it's likely to worsen the situation.

Much of this material is simply the opinion of the author and does not represent the situation accurately. Even when medical research is cited it has often been conducted by the authors themselves and is, more often than not, severely limited and inaccurate.     One of the best and most widely recognized ways to combat acne is through your diet. Consuming plenty of fruit and veg will go a long way to improving your skin condition and indeed your overall health. A diet rich in antioxidants has long been known to reduce the effects of acne. Vitamin C is good and even better is a variation of vitamin C known as vitamin C ester.
    The other two major antioxidants used for skincare are a derivative of vitamin E known as tocotrienol and Alpha lipoic acid. These are not the only antioxidants readily available. Some forms of vitamin B are well known antioxidants. Zinc and selenium also have been proven to be very beneficial in reducing the effects of acne.
    It is now widely known that antioxidants can help improve the condition of your skin and as such can reduce the symptoms of acne. In fact many people have managed to completely eradicate their acne by concentrating on eating healthily. So if you are going down the road of using stronger and stronger products then maybe it's time to change tack and get back to basics. Start by improving your diet and see where it takes you.
    Don't let acne get you down. It is a condition which can be cured in 95% of cases. Strong products are usually not the answer and should be avoided in my opinion.
