• What Causes Acne On The Back?

    Acne poses a lot of effects to people who are suffering from this disease. It may cause psychological problems such as having low self-esteem, depression and even worse, suicide. It usually appears during adolescence, the age where teens are more socially insecure.

    The acne on the back or also from other parts of extremities is also called "bacne". It is characterized by acne found on the back, upper arms, and the buttocks. It has several forms from pimples, pustules, cysts, and blackheads which are really painful and itchy according to acne prone individuals.

    Body acne, which is similar to facial acne, is a genetic disease. It is commonly passed on to children if either parent has body acne. Research shoes that those suffering with facial acne are most likely to have acne on back and chest; or it can also be found in upper arms and other extremities. It can develop anywhere on the body except on the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet; this is because these areas do not have sebaceous follicles where acne is usually formed. Having filled red marks on arms, legs, buttocks or elsewhere are considered to be affected with acne.

    There are lots of treatments advocated to lessen the impact to individuals suffering from this disease. Acne is a common human skin disease which is characterized by appearance of scaly red skin, blackheads and whiteheads, pinheads, pimples, large papules and possible scarring.

    But what really causes acne on the back? No one is really certain what is the cause of acne? What experts know is that for back acne to appear there is a maturation of oil glands which usually begins during puberty period other than that, the causes of back acne maybe similar to the cause of facial acne. Individuals suffering from acne tend to have overproduction of skin cells inside their pores which creates blockage in the pores.

    This blockage traps the skin oil which is now a perfect breeding ground for acne bacteria. When there is proliferation of acne bacteria and a build up of oil and skin cells may cause to break the pores which serve as the signal for the body to activate the immune response thus causes redness, pus, and a zit is born.

    Acne is therefore caused by hormonal imbalance in the bodies; and one may not be saved from its curse despite strong measures of avoiding it. Therefore, it is recommended to use the necessary treatment as soon as the early signs of acne begin to avoid having the traumatic impact of having acne.
