• I Get Picked On Because I Have Acne - The Truth About How It Feels To Have Acne Depression


    When I was younger I had severe cystic acne. It has just recently cleared up, not from medication, not from radiation therapy, but from natural remedies and inner strength. By inner strength I mean the fight within myself, all of the people who have bothered me about my acne, and everyone who ever told me that it would never go away, and that I would have it till the day I pass.

    This article is about self-help for acne survivors. I too know how it feels to have acne depression. You look into the mirror everyday and do not like what you see. You go to school basically hidden from the world hoping that your secret crush wont see you, but one day will love you. You feel sad and mad when kids, teens, or adults pick on you, just because you have formations on your face. I am writing to you as a fellow acne self-help survivor. I want this article to really help those who read it.

    The effects of acne on ones mind and body can be massive. Lets take a look at some feelings you might be experiencing. Acne and depression go hand in hand. If you are feeling afraid of light, feelings of hopelessness, in disgust about how you look, then this is the right place to be for help.

    Everyone you have always went to had no clue that this is more than just a physical thing but also a mental issue. No one was able to take me to get any sort of help with my mental acne depression. I had to cure it myself. This is why I am even here today, living. I am writing to all you young boys, girls, and even adults on how to help yourself, when you feel that no one is helping you.

    My Self-Help Tips

    To overcome any sort of problems psychologically and physically with acne you must first sit down and find out the problem at hand. In my case it was acne scars. I have developed deep imprints in my face. Let me show you a few tips on how I helped myself

    Exercised- Even though many said that exercising brought on more pimples and acne, for me it cured it. My face felt great after a long run or weight training session. It felt tight and oxygenated. It felt almost like I have just gotten a deep facial. Pure and rich looking.
    Eat Vegetables high in Vitamin A- Vitamin A is the vitamin that helps your skin. It clears it up and creates a beautiful looking glow.
    Do not be Intimidated by Bullies- Most of the time these kids or adults are just insecure about themselves, that is why they pick on us, to make them feel good, but remember they are the bad ones. Never ever retaliate just make sure you know within yourself that you are beautiful and that you are better than them
    Have Fun- Get outside and play. Have a great time with friends and enjoy your life.
    Natural Remedies- Natural remedies, combined with these tips is how I have accepted myself and how my acne depression faded away. I believe that a lot of my pimples came from depression and worrying. Once this was gone I felt better and looked better. A holistic acne cure was just what I needed, it was life changing and the benefits are indescribable. I believe there is only a natural cure for acne and that is it.
